You can tell from her video that this was a particularly fun shoot. Introducing Alexa Campos. She's a basketball player who plays center for North High School in Phoenix. She works part time at Elizabeth's Spa in Scottsdale and also babysits on the side. For a young woman she is very certain and confident in her demeanor. Plus, like I said before, she's just a lot of fun. We laughed, made jokes, and she busted a move almost between every shot, or take during the shoot. She really helped a lot with a few cool ideas, and poses. She was really great at listening and taking direction, which I'm sure stems from her basketball playing good sportsmanship, and leadership training.

I called this series Fountain of Youth because Alexa expressed this child like joy and confidence that is rare in a woman her age. It wasn't built around pretense or materialism, but just around her unique expression of herself. We can all learn from that type of person, and it's my thought that joy is the true Fountain of Youth. Wreckless abandon to true expression of one's self and enjoyment of life.
