What can I say?! He's a funny guy. Irfan Katchi found his way into my camera sights through a friend, Stevie Nicks, a R&B music artist/budding fashion designer, and subsequently ended up playing a role in one of our up coming commercial spots. An extremely talented and humble individual, Irfan is the host to many talents. He played a supporting comedy role in one of the Will Asked Me Too commercial spots for our Leroy campaign, has his own funny/positive vibe Youtube channel, acts, and models, and if that isn't enough, he raps too. Alex and I even had the pleasure of hearing him drop a verse on camera during the shoot. Irfan is the real deal. He's coming out of left field in a way that you would never expect. And don't let all of this creative ability fool you, he's extremely intelligent as well. He's set to get his degree in Information Technology, while working as a banker. With this smart, talented, funny guy, you can't go wrong.

Irfan came into my world brand new. I had no idea of who he was, or what he could do, and after five minutes on set, I knew. He's fresh, he's different, he's coming from a whole new angle. I was excited to work with him, and it's an honor to have him featured on our blog. Originally from Bombay, Irfan brings a whole new world of possiblities, culturally speaking, as well as perspective. We've discussed working on a short film that he would be starring in with another Pakistani friend of mine Khurram Shahzad. We're looking for big laughs on this one. He's been state side for a while, hence his rapping abilities and interest, but he's coming from somewhere else. He's been on his journey for a while, trying to get his talent to us by any means possible, and now he's finally arrived here. We hear the conductor yell, "Next Stop, *New." And I knew this Desi would be a hit.
